Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Day +70

I slept in this morning and when I woke Alivia was acting strange. After further checking we realized she couldn't see. She couldn't grab anything, she would walk her hands across things to find toys. It was and is terrifying. They think its from a combo of the high blood pressure and cyclosporin. She since has had a seizure. She's had adivan, dilantine and 3 different blood pressure meds. Hopefully it will all be reversible. If it is what they think then it will be but she will have an MRI this evening to make sure it isn't a fungal infection in her brain. PRAY!!!!! I am shaking I'm so scared.

I'll update after the MRI.

For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.”
Isaiah 41:13

"Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there!

If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,”even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.

Ps. 139:7-13

Praying for you through this uncertain time. Pull out those verse cards.
Love you much, friend.

Dear James and Emily, You don't know me but I know your parents. I have been praying for you since I found out about little Alivia several months ago. I know that you know there are so many praying for her and for all of you, so be encouraged. I just wanted to remind you that the Lord knows ALL that you are going through ....every feeling, every pain with seeing your little girl go through this ordeal and all your concerns. He hasn't left you. He knows your every hurt and knows your heart. Cling to Him the most when these times get tough. He will see you through. We serve a loving and compassionate God and He cares for you more than you can even imagine. God bless you all and keep you. ~A faithful prayer partner.

Ps.27:13,14 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Is:30:18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him.

Be still my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to your God to order and provide; In every change, He faithful will remain.
Be still my soul: your best your heavenly friend
through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul: your God will undertake
To guide the future, as He has the past.
Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still my soul: the waves and winds shall know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.

Dear Emily & James,
I just read your blog & I can't stop crying! I immediatly have been praying for your sweet Livi for God to heal her! Most of all to give you both strength & continued faith that even when Alivia is facing new health challenges that God is still in control & knows our every need. The road you have taken & the road that is yet to come God will be there to hold your hand & walk you thru it in his perfect plan. I am really praying very hard tonight for all 3 of you!!!

Keep trusting. No one can take care of Alivia better than our precious Father!!

Love,
Hannah Byers
