Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Day 76 part 2

We are part way through the new med (reflixamab) and Livi had a slight allergic reaction. She threw up and her temp went up to around 101. The med is one that is slowly increased over 8 hours till it hits the max rate. So they have started it again at a lower rate and won't increase it. It just means that it will be have to be given at a slower rate than and thus take a lot longer to get.

She feels pretty gross. Fever, diarhea (which we just got away from...sort of), nausea and sleepiness. Not a fun day but really not many have been here in the hospital.

Hey Emily~
Thanks for writing. I'm not sure how you keep track of all this--I think that when you guys are out of the hospital both you & Livi will be medically educated enough to become doctors/nurses. (not that you'd want to spend more time in the hospital)
But, I continue to see His grace sustain you day by day--& it challenges me MUCH. I'm anxious to see you again, but not sure when--call me if you ever need to talk....i'd love to hear your voice again!

That poor, sweet angel. I pray she feels better. Whenever you guys cross my mind, which is often, I pray. You are going through an unbelievably hard time - and I just want you to know that others are thinking of you and praying for you. God bless!

Emily, I probably missed it somewhere along the line, but what is the address where things can be sent for you, James, or Livi?

Your strength is inspiring. Bless you. I pray this will all be behind you soon.

I am so inspired by your strength, Emily, and Alivia's. You are both absolutely amazing. I ask God for a good rest for you tonight. Also for James and the rest of the family up there who are walking along side you on this arduous journey. Love you,

Emily and James,

Praying for you and the sleep that you would get would be enough to energize you. May your thoughts be fixed on the cross. May you feel Gods presence abundantly.

Lifting Alivia up and asking the Lord for healing. As we know, the Lord is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.

Continuing to pray for you all. Especially for quick resolution of this new medical issue and that your sweet little girl can tolerate the meds.
May His grace continue to sustain and strenghten you.

emily,

Thanks so much for continuing to let us know how to pray for little Livi. I am away in Spain right now, but can very easily hit an internet cafe to see the updates. Just think- there are probably people all over the world praying for you all.

Praying,

Emily, James and Livi,
I hang on to every word you send and I'm always looking for the ways to specifically pray - THANKS, for taking the time to update us all. Among the many emotions that follow each read, today I felt grateful for the doctor's wisdom in knowing exactly what the problem is, and how to go about helping dear sweet Livi. I believe that is God's grace.
I set up your blog for my Mom today and she is a prayer warrior along with her little country friends who lift Livi up daily. Be encouraged, because YOU are so encouraging. I also pray for you and James and the strength for your marriage.
Love,
Diana B.
