Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

I spent the day with my friend Jackson today. He has relapsed again and is back in the hospital. They are keeping him comfortable. This is the worst thing a parent can go through. Please pray for Pete and Trish that they find comfort and strength. And pray for Jackson that he doesn't experience pain.

Thanks for sending me the picture Carol. (glad I didn't have to search for it)

I searched your blog for "Jackson" and I found a picture on May 31, 2007. I'm not sure if it is Jackson (and Livi) or not.

So sorry to hear Jackson relapsed. Praying for him and his parents. What a good friend for you to go visit him...it must have been hard to do for you. Not a day goes by that my heart doesn't ache for you guys, actually break all over each day, but I pray God gives you an immeasurable amount of strength. You, and little Livi, serve as great inspirations to so many of us. (more people than you can know) Thank you for your great example.

Oh, Emily!
I'm sure that you are a great comfort to Pete, Trish and little Jackson just by your presence, having walked, and still walking, a path, as you say, that is the worst thing a parent can go through.
May God strengthen and comfort you all!

Still praying.

Poor baby - I'm SO sad to hear of this turn. I pray God will keep him out of pain and lay His healing hands on him.
I also still continue to pray for you and James every day. I check your blog every day. I can only imagine how difficult it is for you to go back to the hospital. What a good friend you are to them.
Many hugs and prayers,
Vicki Moore

Just read your mom's entry and my heart breaks over it, but God does deeply appreciate it when we pray for the protection or preservation or glory or mercy for others that we don't receive ourselves. I have had to remind myself of that way too many times in life on way too many topics. It is perhaps one of the hardest things God calls us to do.

I will be praying from afar for Jackson and would be there in a heartbeat if I were needed even though I have never met his family.

Love to all of you and Jackson's family....

Praying as God gives you strength to minister to Jackson's family. It's a sad reality but God has placed you in a unique situation. He has chosen you to minister to them. He knows that I and many others cannot comfort them like you can. Praying for you as you miss your beautiful Alivia and for her dear friend Jackson. -Sue F.

Praying for Jackson and his family. This is too sad. Brings back a flood of emotions from the summer. Something I am sure that you experience daily.

The high school in the district in which I work had a lock-in this weekend to raise money for the 4 Diamonds Fund. I am so encouraged by the generous spirit of our teens/young adults. I pray that they will contribute to the future research, the awareness, and the funds that will kick this disease. Pray on, girl! Keep fighting, Jackson.

it encourages me when I hear that you can go back to the hospital and visit jackson even though you have so many memories there. it just shows that you are getting through this difficult time. I will be praying for a miracle for that sweet boy. I was looking at pics of livi today and realized how much I miss seeing the cutest girl around and how I wish i had known her better. I pray that this week God will be with you and James.

Praying,
Moriah
