addicted
Is it possible to be addicted to your own blog? Cause I think I might be addicted to mine. It is my one and only link to the outside world. I know that i can share with a large number of people and also I love reading all the comments. I have gotten comments from people I have never meet, friends of friends, mothers, sisters and brothers of friends. every message is a great. it reminds me that we arent' alone here on the 7th floor.
My favorite story so far was from Kristy Altrogge (my parents great friend, my great friend, mother of Beth...my favorite almost sister) who went out with her mother and when they got home and there was a message on the machine that asked people to pray for Dr. Allen's granddaughter. Kristy's mom doesn't even know us. Its nice to know people everywhere are praying for us. Thank you so much.

I'm addicted too! I don't know how often I checked your blog today. Still praying and thinking of you. I saw Greg sitting outside and holding Anna. My thoughts went to you immediately. Praying for that day when you can hold Alivia outside in the sunshine.

Emily and James:
We are the latest addition to your blogger additcts and have had your homepage screen up all afternoon so we can check on any updates and comments. Have been painting while Andrew is away and this is the first I have had to say hello and like everyone else we are also praying. I was thinking of you all today while at work at Indiana Hospital doing painful procedures on other people. I was so grateful that Livi got to be sedated as I know for sure how unpleasant some of the stuff us medical people do to people is. I've been explaining to people here how this all works, the tests and what white blood cells do, etc. So we are really right there with you in our hearts and in our minds and in our very frequent prayers. Thanks for keeping us posted for those of us who can't physically be there. We love you. xoxoxoxoxx

Your blog is great. I feel so useless and so out of touch. Reading your blog helps me keep up on Alivia's condition and helps us know how to pray. You are never, ever out of our thoughts and prayers.
Will you be up late??? I am going to try to call again.
Love, Les
Think of anything from Lanc. you might need...Jeff could bring it up for you!!!
Oh, we just added your blog to our Favorites...we are definitely addicts!!!
Yoders
James and Emily,
Thanks for the updates that you have been providing; not only on Alivia but also on yourselves. Letting us know whats happening with you allows us to help bear you burdens. These updates also allow us to be very specific in our prayers for you. It is encouraging and faith building to hear God's people drawing together in prayer and support for your family. Be encouraged by 2 Tim. 2:1 " You then, my child, be stregthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus." and Phil. 4:7 " And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Though you might not understand this situation you can trust in God's sovereignty and also in his mercy. He is worthy of our trust and faith and he will give you peace in this trial and pour out grace to overflowing on you all. Also know that when you are not able to comfort Alivia ( because of separation due to medical treatments or testing ) that God is always with her and is her ultimate comforter. He will sustain you all through this season. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

By His Grace,

I emailed a friend today and told her that your blog has essentially become my screensaver. I just hit the refresh button every time I pop down to the basement to check for updates!
And, I'm glad I read the comments and saw that you have "Beside Still Waters". I was going to buy it for you and send it your way. It was bought for us shortly after Judah and Tucker was born. It continues to be a source of great comfort and encouragement to us.
What a blessing to see the Body of Christ operating as God intends for it to operate...mind boggling to think of all the good God is bringing about through this disappointing and difficult circumstance.
Hey Emily,
