Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Hershey tomorrow.

Wanted to let everyone know to send the money for bracelets to me. Even if we go to church together because we wont' be in church the next two weeks. Thanks. '

Tomorrow is another day at the hospital. We have and Echocardiogram and EKG at 9 am (Going to have to wake a sleeping baby I bet). Then we will head over and get the first dose of Gleevace (I've been spelling wrong and will probably continue to do so but thought I would try to spell better for today). It will have to be crushed and put into something which is very hard since she doesn't like much. I am praying it goes well. Also we aren't sure what the timing will be...if you have to wait to eat before or after taking it. They aren't sure if she will have any reaction to it because she is the youngest to ever take it. So we will spend the day in the hospital to watch her. If all goes well we will head home tomorrow evening.

Please pray for a good EKG and Echo (she hates these tests and usually flips out the entire time)
Pray that she is able to take the medicine without any problem.
Pray for no reaction to the medicine.
pray that the medicine shrinks her spleen and lowers her white cell count.
Pray for the perfect bone marrow donor.
Pray for the Murphy family.

i'm going to pray for livi, one of the cutest nieces in the world, on my way to work, at lunch, and on my way home.

"Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Rom. 8:26-28

love John

We will be praying!

Any chance, since your bracelet order is going well, that you might be ordering MORE bracelets and can get adult ones that say "Baby Livi"? I've talked to so many people who would love that! (Us included) Emily, this is such a great thing you are doing. If you need help with the organizing or anything, let me know. I'm just up the road & ready to do what I am able to do.

Love you all! Have a great day Thursday...may you experience God's presence and His mercy!

Will be praying for you as always.

I hope I am not asking a question that you have already answered a million times, but I just need to firm up if a marrow donor must be the same blood type as the recipient? I am assuming that that would be the bare minimum requirement and that from there, there are a lot of other factors that need to be compatible.

Thanks in advance for answering this. I would just assume that there would be no shot that someone with A- blood could be a marrow donor for someone who is O+. Being a marrow donor is worth it no matter who you are donating to, but was just wondering if Alivia is limited to only receiving marrow donations from O+ and O- blood types?

Today there were answers to many prayers. The tests were surprisingly well, she took most of the Gleevec. Emily will be a certified chemist when this is done...we got to leave at 3 PM without any side effects. Livi did well fasting from & AM to 12:30 PM and no nap from 7AM to 3 PM. That girl is plucky!!! Thanks for joining us in prayer for this girl we all love so much. Gigi
