Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Day -3

Here is an early morning Livi and Mommy shot. Yes I'm tired, but doing fine.

Livi and the dancing grannies. Alivia took no nap today and this picture is of the first time in hours she let me put her down.

And of course one of her being cute. Even cute when wearing a barf pan on her head.

The ATG went much better today. It just finished about 5 min ago. It's a long 6 hours of waiting and hoping everything will work out. She did very well, even without a nap all day. They gave meds earlier to help with preventing nausea and so that helped. We also have our first bacterial infection. Knew it would happpen but still not fun to hear. She tested positive for Gram + Cocci. Not even sure what that means but they started IV antibiotics (cephopine and vancomiacin) and will do cultures each day. Ceph doesn't have many side affects (they said probably none) bu vanc can cause redman syndrom (Joe L. knows all about this). I will update later and let you know how it goes. Please pray it goes well and the infection clears up soon.

Thanks to the following people for cards...
Chrissy Evans (the pictures of Ethan are so cute)
Carol Jean Fredrick
Jim and Jean McClements (James' Grandmom and Grandad)
Becky Hoover (the pictures were cheating....but I loved them. We did dress up a lot didn't we? But how could we not. There were costumes everywhere we turned. Thanks for reminding me...I would do all over as long as you were my roomie)

Emily,
Woke in the middle of the night thinking and praying for you and Alivia. The thoughts that I had while praying was about Jesus and the 40 days in the wilderness. He came out victorious and know you and Alivia will also.
Love and prayers,
Bob Malito

How many people are awakened in the night to pray for your little girl? So, so many! It was good to see your face.

We will pray for the infection and for the side-effects of the medication.

Love ya!

Oh, how wonderful!
Thanks so much for keeping us all updated. The kids and I were praying for Alivia this morning, and I was praying several times throughout the day for no reaction today. We will pray that the Lord will remove that infection and give you both sweet sleep! Beautiful pictures!

Hi Emily,
I am one of the many who have been praying in the night for Livi and you. May you experience even more of the Father's tender mercies and goodness every hour. Our baby Lily is one day older than Livi. Lily loves to sit with me and look at Livi's pictures on the computer. She says "baby" and puts her hand on Livi, like I do, and then we pray for her. I so look forward to seeing her picture. Thank you sharing her with us. Janet

Our neighbors are friends with a family that is going through a bone marrow transplant with their little guy right now (Day +3), so I check on and pray for Wyatt and Alivia every night. (http://www.caringbridge.org/cb/visitAPage.do)
You and Alivia are such an inspiration to us in so many ways.
Glad you got our card and pics. I think Elliott had fun dressing up! I would too if I could fit into those tiny costumes!

Hello,
Again I love the pictures! What a cutie, even amidst all the things she has to endure. Thank you so much for being faithful in keeping us updated! We will continue to pray for the requests you have posted. I was reading in my devotional this morning and wanted to share: The undiminished radiance, which is the result of abundant joy, is not built on anything passing, but on the love of God that nothing can change. And the experiences of life, whether they are everday events or terrifying ones, (which I am thinking yours are right now), are powerless to "separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39). May you find comfort in this scripture and some time to rest today.
Thinking of you,
Lori Freeman
