Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Mondays

Mondays Alivia and I always spent the day at home especailly the last year of her life because Tuesdays were always hospital days. We did laundry, played and hung out in our PJ's most of the day. I loved Mondays. I loved the days with just us. Here are so photos from those days.

Livi always sat on my lap when I checked my e-mail. I would take pictures of her to distract her from the keyboard which was way to much fun. E-mails took forever when it was with only one finger. But it was worth it.

This is what happened to Livi's hair if we didn't take a bath. As it was a Monday my solution was a pigtail in the front and wait till bath time to try to get the knots out.

Another checking e-mail shot.

When I put the laundry away in her room I would sometimes put her in her crib. One time I decided to put all the stuffed animals she owned in with her. She had a glow worm and would make it light up and play music and dance. Her friends of course had to dance too. Just another version of the famous Livi dance party.

Somedays we didn't even do PJ's. Just a onesie and some boots. One of the cutest looks I've ever seen.

It's so sad to read "the last year of her life". That should have been 90+ years from now. I can't imagine how hard it is just to get through each day without Livi Bug. Thank you for sharing these special memories. If I know how much I miss her, the intensity you feel must be unbearable. Sending hugs and still praying.

xoxo Lisa

Emily, Thank you for continuing to share your baby with us. I still check your blog every morning. And you all remain in my family's prayers everyday.
I LOVE the pic of her in the onesie and boots. Nothing like a baby in a onesie.
She remains in my heart - hard to believe I never met her - love can extend past the physical connection.
Warmest thoughts,
Vicki Moore

"Monday" is the title of a blog in your first month of posting - and now less than two years later you reflect on your Mondays again with equal gratitude. You amaze me, Emily. You bless my life, and my daughter's life, without even realizing it. You have made me the best mom I can be.
Praying,
Anne

I read something last nite that reminded me of Livi (as if just about everything doesn't remind me)... to paraphrase,

"I had only known her for two years and three months. But if you took every memory, every moment, if you stretched them end to end-they'd reach forever."

And with ALL of our memories and ALL of our moments, they'd stretch forever times gazillion.

Oh, how you touched us, baby girl.

Love, GAL
