Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Today's count

The blood draw went well. They got it on the first try and she was such a trouper. Stopped crying as soon as they were done.

Unfortunelty the numbers where not good. Her WBC's went back up to 124. So if they don't go down into the 70's by Thursday we will star the Vincristine.

Pray the numbers go down.

I will pray that the counts do go down. I will pray for your dad and the rest of your family. I will pray that God will help you deal with all that is going on in your lives the best that you can. Remmeber that God is by your side to help you carry the load. You are in my prayers.

love ya,
moriah

We are praying too, and confessing such disappointment in the numbers! God is in charge, and it is a good thing, because I don't want to be in charge. See you tomorrow. Love ya, Mom and Dad

Hey Emily-
Your comments on "God giving us what we can/cannot handle" are so profound!! It is obvious that you are at a point beyond your own strength--& the only thing you have left is to trust God for provision. It is such a vulnerable place to be, but yet, a place where God's mercies are sweet--& without trial, you wouldn't know the depths of those mercies. Thank you for being such a strong example to me during this situation.
I will be praying with all of my heart that her #'s go down by thursday---& I hope to talk to you soon.
Love you so much--Ang

Good morning Emily-
i will continue to pray that her numbers go down and stay down. i will be also praying for you dad today. may God's grace be your source of strength as you continue to walk in faith. i am praying that you will continue to grow in your faith in Christ alone and that you will experience his kindness in little ways throughout your day. He is growing you in faith and it is evident. love you-jamie
