Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Weekend

We had a good weekend. Went to Market, out to eat, went to church and had James' brothers over for dinner last night. Also, Erin W. moved in with us for a bit. She just moved to the area and is staying with us for a few weeks..should be a lot of fun.

After dinner we decided to go to the park and feed the ducks...just as it started to rain. So we went anyway and hung out in the gazebo and feed the ducks from there.

Thanks to Gina Plain for the stickers, Aunt Joanne for the cool book and Grover card, and to Hailey Herr for the card and stickers.

Thank you cards from
Adelie Plain, Sarah Herr, Amy Knutsen, Carol Landis and John Haughery.

I saw you and Livi at church last week when you were in Indiana. I wanted to say hi, but I had a cold the week before and didn't want to chance giving it to Livi. Thanks so much for letting my sister stay with you. I'm sure it made moving so far from home so much easier for her! Still praying for you guys...

Praying for you! I understand so much of everything you talk about on your blog. The benadryl, transfusions, petechiae, fevers -- I know it has to be especially hard for a mother's heart. Just wanted you to know you're loved and we're praying.

Hey Emily:

I haven't forgotten about the cards I am sending (not for a minute). I bought the cards almost three weeks ago, but out lives have been insane since then. Nothing is as hard as what you have been going through, but I think the reason most of my problems are not as huge is because I don't have the strength to walk through the biggies (at least not right now). My brain just has just been scrambled by a ton of smaller stuff. My dog almost had to have spinal surgery (Joey was going to go stay with Barbara in Auburn). It was for a condition that most people would put a dog his age to sleep for, but we couldn't bear to do that because he loves his family so much and has been in such good health otherwise. Then, right after we got through that (they were able to cure him with very heavy steroids), two out of three of my kids have been sick (caught it all right after going back to school) for the last week. I am hoping to get the stuff in the mail today when I go my middle one's pediatrician appt....I know your goal was to have them by the 31st. I hope all is well with all of you. I need to catch up on the blog entries.

Love,

Caroline

Hey Em

If you got my package and are wondering where the t-you notes are, they're on their way.
As you can imagine, my brain has turned to mommy mush. So, when I got home from the post office, I looked in my basket and saw that I had forgotten to place the t-you notes in the package I sent to you. Sorry! Hope they get there on time! :)

Ducks are cool! Swans on the other hand...not so cool. One time Dan & I went to the park and tried to eat our lunch there. We had turkey subs. Well, there were two swans that we inching their way closer and closer and seemed a little angry. I decided to throw them a bit of my sandwich. I think they got madder when they discovered I was eating poultry! They literally chased us out of the park. Evil, evil swans! Ducks are cool though, as you can see in your picture. Thinking of you...
