Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Day+ 45

Alivia will be starting a new anti-fungal med in the next 15 min. It is IV and runs over 2 hours and has some intense possible side affects (95% of people get them). The pre-meds are tylenol, benadryl and demoral! She may have fever, shaking, and chills to name a few. Please pray she is in the 5% that doesn't get side affects.

Her liver function numbers came down today. (For the nurses out there...her ALT is 592 down from 706 and her AST is 110 down from 220.) That is encouraging news. They are not near normal yet but at least they have stopped rising.

My Dad AND Mom just left for Indiana. Pray for a safe trip for them. If you love Gigi and have been missing her this is your big chance to see her. They will be in Indiana from this evening till about 3 on Thursday. Also if you have anything to add to the nurses gift please get it to them.

Thanks to Marmie for the card, Leslie for the letter, Sparti Hemingway for the note and to whoever sent us the worship CD...we look forward to listneing to it. Mail is still one of the highlights of my day.

I'll post to say how the meds went later.

Praying for your baby girl for complete healing...

Dear Lord, please let Livi be in the 5%. Precious Jesus, please heal Livi. Give Livi rest as I am sure she is weary. Give her hope that she won't always feel this way as I am sure she doesn't understand all of this. Fill her with joy and peace that You are with her. Help her Lord. Please have mercy on her.

The other day the boys were coloring and out of the blue, Judah said, "for baby Livi", meaning he was coloring his picture for Livi. I said, "Are you coloring that for Livi?" He said, "yeah, livi feel better". :) We're often thinking of ya'll and pray for you continuously. Praying for ongoing, supernatural strength for you, for Livi, James and your families. Praying for all parts of Livi's body to begin functioning as they were intended. Praying you see her Creator's loving Hand on her life with each twist and turn in this road that may seem so dark and so uncertain at times.

Love you much, friend!!

Sounds like what we dubbed "ampho-terrible." We're definitely praying.
