Who's the cutest girl around?

I am a mom of a cutie pie (very biased). And I wanted to share my experiences with others (including my cuties grandparents, great-grandparents, numerous uncles and other relatives). I love being a mom and can't imagine doing anything else.

Bright Spot

To some this may seems a bit fanatical or crazy...but I love getting my hair cut... probably more than I should. I found a salon and a stylist that I love about 4 years ago. After cutting my hair for over a year my stylist moved...to Colorado (little to far to go for a hair cut...even for me). I stayed at the same salon with other stylist (who are great) but no one is Darcy. So I get mail the other day from my salon and its a letter saying that Darcy has returned and would I like to schedule an appointment with her?....UM YEA! I called about 5 minutes later and scheduled an appointment. Its tonight. At 7. My parents will be here with James and between the 3 of them Alivia will be overly cared for so I can relax for an hour and get my hairs cut. Can't wait.

See even in the midst of the craziness God is still providing little suprises for me. Okay I'll stop talking about it. I'm just crazy excited. Told you I'm a fanatic.

Wow, your parents are back already! That is great! What a blessing your mom & dad are! We like them even more now that we know they are 24 fans! Go Jack Bauer! Have fun tonight getting your haircut! I also get excited to go "out" to the salon. It was great seeing you at church on Sunday. Autumn loved blowing baby Livi kisses!
Love & Blessings,
Brandi

A good haircut can make you feel like a new person!
Two years ago, I had a hospital stay of about a week. As soon as I was discharged and Joe picked me up at the hospital, I made him take me right to the hair salon - even BEFORE we got home! HA! Now, remember, after the hospital stay, it had been about 8 days since I had even washed my hair! (That's probably more than you needed to know!) A little pampering goes a long way!
I just wrote your mom an email so see if you can help your "computer challenged" mom read it from your computer when she gets to your house. :-)
Still praying for God's choicest blessings on you and your family.
Hope today is a GOOD day!

I'm totally with you, and am totally excited for you, too. A good hair stylists is a girl's almost- bestfriend (of course my husband is my bestfriend, but my fabulous hair stylist is pretty up there)! Have a great time getting your hair cut, relaxing for a bit and just being a girl :-)

Emily,
Every woman and esp. every mom will completely understand your absolute thrill over this!
I surely do. I think I've had my hair done more and definitely spent more money on it since the boys were born than all of my life put together! There is something seriously therapeutic and relaxing about the entire thing. I certainly do not underestimate the blessing of a good stylist either!
I love hearing all the ways GOd is so personally blessing you and your family through this ordeal. Darcy being back is NO small thing.

We found out today that Judah's glaucoma surgeon, who probably has performed surgeries for more SWS glaucoma kids than any dr. in the world, has left Hopkins: don't know why or where he's gone. Always opportunities to trust God, and I am having to face down that temptation to fear that Judah will now receive less than the best care for his glaucoma. But, God is not like that, and you're wonderful story about Darcy reassures me that God's always looking out for His kids.

Love you much!
